Customs brokerage in Malaysia rewards two things: a brokering team that knows the HS code book inside-out, and a relationship with the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (Kastam) that has been earned across actual filings. Riffblox has both. Our brokers hold active Borang K licences, and we’re fully integrated with uCustoms — meaning we file electronically from our office, not through a third-party clearing agent.
We act for direct shippers, traders, manufacturers, free-zone operators and other freight forwarders that want a local broker without competing on cargo.
The brokerage work we do
Import clearance (K1)
Standard import declaration with duty, sales tax (SST) and any excise calculated and paid on your behalf via PSB. Bonded movement to your premises or our warehouse arranged on the same job.
Export clearance (K2)
Outbound declaration plus any required export permit liaison — STA-controlled goods, MITI APs, MPOB consents and Wildlife Department permits for restricted commodities.
Transhipment (K3 / K8)
Movement through Port Klang FZ, PTP FZ and KLIA Free Commercial Zone with proper documentary closure. We’ve handled five-leg transhipments and the paperwork hasn’t slipped.
Tariff classification
HS code review and binding ruling applications via Kastam. Worth it on the commodities where a one-digit difference saves you 8% on the duty line every shipment.
FTA & preferential certificates
ATIGA Form D, AKFTA, ACFTA, RCEP and bilateral certificates of origin. We file via MITI’s online portal and physically collect the stamped certificates from Jalan Duta.
ATA Carnet & temporary imports
For exhibitions, demo equipment, broadcast gear and professional samples. Issuance through MICCI, with bond release confirmation chased on your behalf.
Compliance and licensing
Riffblox Logistics Sdn Bhd is a Customs Agent licensed under Section 90 of the Customs Act 1967. Our broker team passes the Kastam refresher exam every two years, and we hold the AEO-equivalent ASEAN AEOM certification on the brokerage line. Annual compliance audits are run jointly by Kastam and our internal legal counsel.
